The RISE Act is a critical bill that allows students entering college to use their high school documentation to prove the need for accommodations. Currently many colleges require students to obtain new documentation, which is expensive and in turn may make accommodations inaccessible to students without the financial resources.
The RISE Act was recently reintroduced, and CLE is listed as one of the supporting organizations for this bill.
